- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 c. sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 c. HEB whipping cream, whipped
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. mashed bananas
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Mix together butter and sugar until very light and creamy.

3Beat in eggs one at a time.

4Sift together dry ingredients.

5Combine mashed bananas and milk.

6Add sifted ingredients in thirds, alternating with thirds of banana mixture. Beat well after each addition until smooth.

7Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch round pans.

8Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

9Cool.
