  • baked pie shell
  • 2 large bananas
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo

    Slice bananas and place in a deep baked pie shell.

    Beat egg yolks.

    Add milk, sugar, flour, vanilla and oleo.

    Cook until thick.

    Spread over bananas.

    Beat whites of two eggs thoroughly with a pinch of baking powder.

    Add 1/4 cup sugar.

    Beat until smooth and glossy.

    Spread over pie.

    Brown to a golden brown at 350°.
