- 4 to 5 ripe bananas
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box vanilla wafers
- dash of salt
- 3 egg yolks
Directions

1Layer bananas and cookies in a 9 x 13-inch pan (or whatever you want).

2Fill pan to the top with banana and cookie layers. Mix sugar, flour and salt in a saucepan.

3Add milk and egg yolks. Mix well.

4Stir over heat constantly until pudding thickens (low heat); add vanilla.

5Remove from heat and pour over cookies and bananas.

6Makes 8 to 12 servings.
