Banana Split Cake

  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 or 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1 large container whipped topping
  • 3/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, halved
  • 2 sticks soft butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar

    Cream butter a little. Add sugar.

    Beat 15 minutes until fluffy.

    Spread mixture over unbaked graham cracker crust.

    Lay on bananas and cover with pineapple and then whipped topping. Sprinkle with pecans and arrange cherries.

    Store in icebox overnight.
