Banana Split Cake

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
  • 2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced and mixed with 1 1/2 tsp. Fruit-Fresh
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (9 oz.) container whipped topping
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 c. maraschino cherries (optional)

Directions

    Mix graham crackers and soft margarine together and spread in pan.

    With wire whip, mix pudding and milk together until well blended.

    Then spread on cracker mixture.

    Put layer of bananas over pudding.

    Put well drained pineapple over bananas.

    Spread whipped topping over pineapple, making sure to seal edges well. Sprinkle nuts over topping and the cherries for decoration.

    Let set in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
