Banana Split Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 or 5 bananas
  • 1 small carton Cool Whip
  • 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and sliced
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 6 1/2 Tbsp. margarine (cold)
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drain and reserve juice
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • lemon juice (if needed)

Directions

    Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted margarine.

    Press into a 13 x 9-inch pan. Combine powdered sugar, cold margarine, eggs and vanilla. Beat on high speed of mixer for 15 minutes. Spread over graham cracker crust and chill 1 hour. Slice bananas and dip in pineapple juice (lemon juice) to prevent browning and layer over mixture in pan.

    Top with pineapple, then Cool Whip, cherries, pecans and chocolate syrup.
