*Banana Split Cake

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, chilled
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 large Cool Whip (13 1/2 oz.)
  • 1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup
  • maraschino cherries
  • pecans
  • 1 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Bake 1/2 box of cake mix in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.

    Cool cake.

    For pudding layer, mix the softened cream cheese, dry pudding mix and 1 1/2 cups milk together and pour over cooled cake.

    On top of the pudding layer, place a layer of the drained pineapple, sliced bananas and Cool Whip.

    Drizzle on chocolate syrup; top with cherries and sprinkle pecans over all.

    Chill.
