Banana Split Cake

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 to 5 bananas, sliced
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple
  • 1 carton Cool Whip
  • 1 jar cherries

Directions

    Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter; pat into a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish.

    Cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.

    Spread mixture on top of graham cracker crust.

    Layer bananas, pineapple (the acid from the pineapple keep the bananas from turning brown) and Cool Whip.

    Top with pecans and cherries.

    Refrigerate until served.

    Cherries can be added right before serving.
