Banana Split Cake

  • 4 to 6 bananas
  • 3 sticks margarine, softened
  • 1 3/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (9 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 1 small pkg. chopped nuts
  • 1 bottle maraschino cherries, chopped

Directions

    Mix 1 stick melted margarine and crumbs.

    Place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan (press crumbs firm).

    Beat with electric mixer the eggs, margarine and powdered sugar for 15 minutes.

    Spread mixture over crust.

    Place bananas, then drained pineapple on top of mixture.

    Cover with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chopped nuts and arrange cherries on top.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Serves 15 to 18.
