Banana Split Cake

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 sticks margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 large (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • 1 large jar maraschino cherries, drained and sliced
  • 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
  • bananas

Directions

    Mix crumbs with 1 stick melted margarine; press into bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.

    Beat eggs, other 2 sticks margarine and powdered sugar together in mixer for 15 minutes or until light and fluffy.

    Spread egg mixture over crumb layer.

    Slice bananas over this; spread the drained pineapple over bananas.

    Spread Cool Whip over top; sprinkle with cherries and nuts.

    Store in refrigerator.
