Banana Split Cake

- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1 stick melted butter
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pineapple, well drained
- 4 bananas
- 1 large container whipped topping, nuts and maraschino cherries (if desired)
Directions

1Combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter.

2Mix thoroughly and press into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan.

3Mix together the confectioners sugar, eggs, softened butter and vanilla.

4Beat this for 5 minutes with electric mixer on medium speed.

5This is the most important step.

6Spread this over the crumbs, then spread the drained pineapple.

7Cut bananas into thirds, then fourths.

8Arrange bananas on top of pineapple. Cover with whipped topping.

9Refrigerate 24 hours.

10Before serving, add nuts and cherries if desired.
