Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 5 medium bananas
  • 8 oz. whipped topping, thawed
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 c. chocolate syrup (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix cake according to package directions.

    Pour into greased jelly roll pan and bake 20 minutes. Cool.

    Combine pudding, cream cheese and milk.

    Beat until smooth.

    Spread on cooled cake.

    Sprinkle drained pineapple on top of filling.

    Slice bananas and arrange on pineapple.

    Spread whipped topping on top of bananas.

    Garnish with cherries, nuts and chocolate syrup.
