Banana Split Pie

  • 1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs (about 15 squares)
  • 1/3 c. melted margarine
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 c. (less 2 Tbsp.) skim milk
  • 1 c. drained crushed pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 tub whipped topping
  • maraschino cherries or silvered almonds for garnish

Directions

    Melt margarine in 9-inch pie plate and mix crumbs to form crust.

    Bake at 350 for 12 - 15 minutes and let cool.

    Meanwhile mix pudding and milk and let chill.

    Also drain pineapple and chill.

    When ready to assembly pie, slice banana over bottom of crust.

    Next spread pineapple over banana and chilled pudding over pineapple.

    Spread whipped topping over all and garnish.

    Makes 8 servings.

    Each serving is 1 bread, 1/4 milk, 1/2 fruit, 2 fat.
