Bananas Royale

Directions

   In medium skillet combine brown sugar, Crisco, half and half, cinnamon and nutmeg.

   Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils.

   Boil and stir for 2 minutes.

   Remove from heat. Add sliced bananas, stirring gently to coat.

   Cook over low heat for 2 minutes or until soft, stirring occasionally.

   Stir in brandy.

   Serve over ice cream.

   Yields 4 to 6 servings.
