  • 16 large marshmallows or 1 c. marshmallow cream or 2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

    Mix in a heavy 2-quart saucepan, cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to boil (mixture will be bubbling all over top). Boil and stir 5 minutes more.

    Take off heat.
