  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (14 oz.) bottle ketchup
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine
  • 3 to 4 stalks celery, chopped fine
  • 2 tsp. ground oregano
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Brown ground beef in skillet.

    Drain beef in colander to remove all grease.

    Place beef back in skillet with onion, celery, ketchup and oregano.

    Mix well.

    Add salt to taste.

    Simmer about 30 minutes or until flavors blend.

    (You may need to add a little more ketchup if too dry.)

    Stir often to keep from scorching.
