  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 3 medium green peppers, chopped
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c. chili powder
  • 3 lb. pork, beef or chicken, cut in cubes
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. ketchup

Directions

    Cook meat until it is tender enough to shred.

    In another pan, cook green pepper and onions in oil.

    Stir in chili powder and cook 1 minute.

    Add meat and remaining ingredients plus 1 cup of water and 1 cup ketchup.

    Simmer for 3 hours.

    Shred meat with 2 forks.
