  • 1 can pork and beans with onions and bacon, drained
  • 1 can butter beans (large lima beans), drained
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 3 slices cut up bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • garlic or garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 c. dark brown sugar

Directions

    Fry bacon, onion and garlic (if used).

    Add vinegar, mustard and brown sugar; boil for 3 or 4 minutes.

    (If garlic powder is used, add before boiling.)

    Mix with drained beans.

    Place in a 2-quart casserole and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
