- 1 lb. beef or pork in 1/2-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Brown meat in hot fat and add water.

2Cover and cook 1 1/2 hours or until tender.

3Reserve broth.

4Add enough water to make 2/3 cup.

5Shred meat with fork.

6Cook onion and celery until tender.

7Add beef broth and remaining ingredients.

8Simmer, uncovered, for 20 to 30 minutes or until desired consistency. Good to freeze.
