Barbecue Ribs

  • 3 to 4 lb. pkg. pork ribs
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 bottle or more your favorite barbecue sauce

Directions

    Prepare ribs.

    Remove excess fat, wash and pat dry with paper towel.

    Place ribs in baking pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with chopped onions and chopped celery.

    Sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce.

    Bake slowly in 325° oven until tender (approximately 1 1/2 hours).

    Drain fat and pour 1/2 bottle or more barbecue sauce over ribs and return to oven for 1/2 hour, baste occasionally and remove from oven.
