- 3 racks spareribs
- salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. m.s.g. (vetsin)
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. catsup
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Lay out 3 large lengths of heavy-duty aluminum foil, each large enough to envelop one rack of ribs. Sprinkle the ribs with salt, pepper and m.s.g.

3Enclose the ribs securely, sealing the foil so that the juice will not escape. Place the ribs in the oven and bake without opening the foil for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

4Remove the ribs from the oven, open the foil and let stand until ready to grill.

5The juice in the foil may be added to the barbecue sauce or discarded.
