  • 2 to 3 lb. ribs, cut in pieces
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 dashes Tabasco sauce
  • 2 c. water

Directions

    Place ribs in shallow pan, meaty side up.

    Toothpick slice of unpeeled lemon and slice of onion on each rib; roast in hot 450° oven 30 minutes.

    Combine remaining ingredients; heat to boiling; pour over ribs; continue baking at about 350° until tender, about 1 hour.

    Baste ribs with sauce every 15 minutes.

    Serve with hot biscuits!
