Barbecue Venison

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. chopped deer steak, all fat removed
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Creole seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. barbecue spice
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Put all ingredients in a 4-quart pressure cooker.

    Cook on 10 pounds pressure for 45 minutes.

    Drain meat and place in baking dish.

    Separate meat with fork.

    Mix approximately 18 ounces of your favorite barbecue sauce.

    Add enough sauce to the meat mixture until it is slightly soupy.

    Bake 30 minutes in a 350° oven.

    Serve on sandwiches or as a casserole.
