  • 1 (31 oz.) and 1 (15 oz.) can Van Camp's baked beans, undrained
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/3 to 1/2 box dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 2 tsp. A. 1. or Lea & Perrins steak sauce

    Cook together ground beef, onion and pepper; drain off fat. Mix all other ingredients with beef mixture and cook in crock-pot on low about 1 hour.
