Ingredients

  • 350 g green beans
  • 400 g baby potatoes
  • 400 g pickling onions
  • 250 g back bacon
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 cup creme fraiche
  • 250 g cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon aroma seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Slice the green beans, peel the baby potatoes and the pickling onions.

    Dice the bacon and grate the cheese.

    In a pot fry bacon and garlic until cooked but not crispy add crushed garlic, lemon pepper, aroma seasoning, mixed herbs and salt fry for another two minutes.

    Add the green beans, baby potatoes, pickling onions and water.

    Cook until soft and all liquid has been absorbed add more water during cooking if necessary.

    When all the water has been absorbed and the beans, onions and potatoes are soft add the creme fraiche and cheese mix well heat through and serve.
