- 1 fryer, cut up
- flour to coat chicken
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1 c. hot water
- salt to taste
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 c. tomato catsup
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- dash of red pepper
Directions

1Brown flour-coated chicken in fat in a skillet.

2Place browned chicken in a casserole or baking dish.

3Brown the onion lightly in the fat in the skillet.

4Add rest of ingredients to the onion in the skillet and simmer 30 minutes.

5Pour sauce over browned chicken in casserole.

6Cover with foil and bake at 320° to 350° for 1 hour.
