Barbecued Deer Chops

- 2 lb. deer chops
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
Directions

1Brown chops in skillet.

2Remove and replace in baking dish. Brown onions and celery in butter.

3Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly until flavors are well blended, about 15 minutes. Pour sauce over chops and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
