- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. celery salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. ground mustard
- 4 lb. ribs
Directions

1Place butter in saucepan.

2Add onion, green pepper and celery. Let simmer for a few seconds.

3Add remaining ingredients, except ribs.

4Cook 10 to 12 minutes.

5Brown ribs.

6Pour sauce over ribs. Cook at 350° for 2 hours.
