Ingredients

  • 1 to 3 lb. chuck roast
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 medium pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 tsp. salad oil
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Place roast in Dutch oven.

    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast.

    Cover and bake at 300° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
