Barbecued Spanish Ribs

  • 4 lb. spareribs or pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 3/4 c. catsup
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 onions, sliced

Directions

    Bake at 325°.

    Place meat in shallow pan.

    In a bowl, combine salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, chili powder, catsup, water and vinegar.

    Pour over meat.

    Top with onion slices.

    Bake for 1 hour, turn meat then continue baking 1 hour longer.

    Baste meat occasionally with sauce while baking.
