- 1 small head cabbage (about 1 1/4 lb.)
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1/3 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
- salt to taste
Directions

1Shred cabbage; you should have about 8 cups.

2Combine vinegar, oil and sugar and whisk until sugar has dissolved.

3Pour dressing over cabbage and season with salt.

4Toss well.

5Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
