  • 1 1/2 lb. cubed chuck roast or stew beef
  • 5 medium potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 33 baby carrots
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 4 c. water or cover all
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar or substitute
  • 1/4 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper or to taste

    Cook all in crock-pot overnight or in Dutch kettle for 3 hours. Brown chuck roast or stew meat.
