- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 3 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. pecans
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Directions

1Combine sugar, cocoa, flour, salt, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

2Beat at medium speed for 30 seconds.

3Stir in pecans; pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

4Cool.

5For best flavor, cover and let stand 1 day before serving.

6If desired, serve with whipped cream.
