  • 1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
  • 1 piece chocolate string licorice (12 inch)
  • 1 Tbsp. red decorating gel

    Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour 1/2 into greased and floured 9-inch round pan.

    Spoon remaining batter into 12 paper-lined muffin cups.

    Bake cake and cupcakes as directed on package.

    Cool in pans 10 min.

    ; invert cake onto wire rack.

    Remove pan; cool cake completely.

    Meanwhile, cool cupcakes on wire racks.

    Beat pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min.

    Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP.

    Cut small piece off round cake to resemble a baseball mitt; discard reserved piece or reserve for snacking.
