  • 4 c. finely diced celery
  • 4 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 3/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 4 qt. lightly packed day old bread crumbs (include cornbread and biscuit)
  • 8 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Simmer celery in boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender; drain, reserving 1 cup of liquid.
