- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 egg white
- light cream
- 1 lb. confectioners sugar
- pinch of salt
- food coloring (of choice)
Directions

1Cream butter until very soft.

2Gradually beat in some of the sugar.

3Add the egg white and salt; mix well.

4Then, slowly add remaining sugar while stirring.

5Thin, if necessary, with cream. Divide into small portions; color each portion as desired.

6This frosting is put through a pastry tube.
