  • 2 Eggs
  • 100 grams Flour
  • 90 grams Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 grams Unsalted butter
  • 1 dash Vanilla extract

Directions

    Sift together the flour, sugar and baking powder into a bowl.

    Add the eggs and combine (do not whip).

    Melt the butter in a pot, taking care not to burn it.

    Add the melted butter to the batter and combine with a wooden spatula.

    Add vanilla extract.

    Coat the madeleine pan with vegetable oil or butter and pour in the batter.

    Bake at 180C for 10~12 minutes.

    Remove the madeleines from the pan when they are still warm and place in a plastic bag.

    This will make them nice and moist.
