Basic Meatballs

  • 13 lb ground veal
  • 13 lb ground pork
  • 13 lb ground beef
  • 12 red onion
  • 3 -4 garlic cloves
  • 12 cup parsley
  • 12 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce

Directions

    1) Preheat oven to 400F.

    2) Mince (very, very fine) onion, garlic and parsley.

    3) Use hands to mix ground meats, minced onion, minced garlic, minced parsley, bread crumbs and egg.

    4) Add pinch of salt and black pepper.

    5) Use hands to roll meatballs into 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter (whatever your preference).

    Put rolled meatballs into 9x13 baking pan.

    6) Cover meatballs with sauce (you can use homemade, but jarred works just fine).

    7) Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
