- 2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar

1Preheat oven to 425°. Grease 12 muffin cups. Set aside.

3Beat lightly with fork.

4Stir in milk and shortening. Add flour and sugar.

5Stir just until blended. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full.

6Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
