  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. Carnation evaporated milk
  • 1 c. hot tap water
  • 2 egg yolks (save whites)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 10 large marshmallows
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Add enough milk to make a paste; mix well.

    Add remaining milk, hot water and beaten egg yolks.

    Add butter, vanilla and marshmallows.

    Cook over medium heat, stirring at all times, until marshmallows melt and mixture is thick.

    Pour in baked crust; top with meringue.
