  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Rinse quinoa in a fine sieve until the water runs clear.

    Put into a medium sized pot.

    Add water and salt and bring to a boil.

    Cover, reduce heat to medium low and simmer until all the water is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes.

    Set aside off heat for 5 minutes.

    Uncover and fluff with a fork.

    Divide into 4 one cup portions and refrigerate.
