Basic Raspberry Sauce

- 1/2 pints Fresh Raspberries
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/4 cups Water
- 1 cup Raspberry Jam, Seedless
- 1 Tablespoon Raspberry Liqueur (optional)
Directions

1Place the raspberries, granulated sugar, and water into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 4 minutes.

2Pour the cooked raspberry mixture, the jam, and the raspberry liqueur into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour this mixture into a bowl through a fine mesh strainer to remove any seeds. Strain again if necessary.

3Chill well before serving. Use as a topping for ice cream, cakes, waffles, etc.
