- 1 cup packed l. brn sugar
- 1/2 cup hot paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper

1this is a basic rub.

4mix all ingredients in a bowl with a wire wisk.

5place mixture in a zip lock bag and refrigerate overnight to let the flavors marry

6use on beef, pork, lamb or chicken.

7it will keep for a few weeks in the fridge.

8if you need it right away you can combine ingredients in a double boiler but make sure to mix frequently and break apart lumps with your fingers to prevent sugar from caking up.

9keep at low heat to prevent carmelization.
