- 1 whole chicken, cut up
- 14 cup tequila
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced cilantro or 1 tablespoon parsley
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
Directions

1Rinse chicken and pat dry.

2Prick all over with a fork.

3In a medium bowl combine tequila, lime juice, oil, cilantro, salt and pepper.

4Add chicken and turn to coat.

5Marinate at room temperature, turning several times, 30-60 minutes.

6Prepare hot grill or broiler.

7Set chicken about 6 inches from the heat and grill or broil, turning occasionally, until cooked through with no trace of pink near the bone, about 25 minutes.
