  • 225 grams Plain flour
  • 100 grams Butter
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp water

Directions

    Sift the flour into a bowl.

    Make sure your butter is cold as this works best.

    Rub the butter into the flour until it is like breadcrumbs

    Mix in the salt and add 2-3 tbsp of water.

    Don't add too much or the pastry will become hard.

    On a floured surface, knead the dough lightly, wrap in cling film and chill.
