Basic Sweet Roll Dough

- 2 c. lukewarm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Mix first three ingredients together. Put yeast in and stir until dissolved.

2Stir in eggs, shortening and flour in two parts. Knead dough gently.

3Should be almost sticky.

4Put in greased bowl and let rise until double.

5Shape into whatever shapes you wish.

6Sticky buns, doughnuts, coffee cake or just plain pan rolls.

7Bake at 425° for 15 or 20 minutes.
