Ingredients
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 c. flour
- dash of salt
Directions

1In a small bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg yolk.

2Stir in flour and salt.

3Mix well.

4Add extract.

5Mix again.

6Chill 1 hour.

7Shape into 2 dozen one-inch balls.

8Place in tiny ungreased muffin cup.

9Can use small paper cups.

10Press dough on bottom and sides of cup.

11Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.

12Cool slightly in pan.

13Remove carefully and cool well.

14Fill with desired filling.
