- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup rice
- 1/4 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 potato small, diced
- 1 carrot small, diced
- 1/4 cup peas
- 2 cups water
- salt
- 4 tablespoons cream
Directions

1In a saucepan, heat the oil and add the rice. Stir using a wooden spoon.

2Add the onion and garlic while still stirring.

3Once the rice becomes transparent, add the potato, carrot, peas, water, and salt to taste.

4Stir and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and cover. Do not stir the rice in this step.

5Continue to cook until the water has evaporated. Remove the garlic and onion.

6Serve.
