Basil Beer Bread

- 3 cups flour, self-rising self-rising
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup basil leaves, fresh, chopped
- 1 1/2 cup beer warm
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350F (180C).

2In a large bowl, mix the flour and sugar.

3Stir in the basil, then the beer.

4Mix until thoroughly blended, then pour into a well greased 9x5x3 inches loaf pan.

5Bake until a straw inserted in the center comes out clean, about 50 minutes.

6Turn the bread out of the pan and cool on a rack.

7Slice the bread thinly.
