- 2 c. fresh green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. chopped celery
- 1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh basil or 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1In saucepan, combine beans, onion, celery and water.

2Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until beans are tender to taste.

3Drain; add butter, basil, salt and pepper.

4Stir to coat.

5Serve immediately.
